Toa Payoh - Senior Business Analyst - Markets Business

This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can produce high-quality documentation and facilitate effective communication among stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead requirement definition activities including stakeholder identification, elicitation, analysis, and review across various projects.
• Develop comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRD) that meet high standards.
• Conduct business process analysis, mapping, and optimization to enhance operational efficiency for clients.
• Perform options assessments, feasibility analyses, and benefits analyses to support strategic decision-making.
• Engage with stakeholders in the Markets area, particularly focusing on at least one of the following APAC markets: Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Australia, India, Philippines, South Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, or Myanmar. Experience in multiple markets is a plus.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of Front-, Middle-, and Back-Office domains, with mandatory expertise in at least one of these areas.
• Participate in system design, development, or validation processes, with a focus on formulating and executing unit tests and system functional tests.
• Maintain acute attention to detail and a commitment to producing precise and extensive requirement documentation.
• Communicate fluently and concisely in English and Japanese, both verbally and in writing, with a requirement for Japanese-Language Proficiency Test level 1 (JLPT1). This is a must have requiremnet from our client.
• Foster a collaborative environment by encouraging business users to participate in requirements gathering activities, such as interviews, workshops, and document reviews.
• Willingness to travel within the APAC region to engage with clients' Front-, Middle-, and Back-Office teams for requirement gathering.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of demonstrable experience in requirement definition within the financial services sector, focusing on markets.
• Proven experience in creating BRD and FRD, as well as expertise in all areas of requirement definition.
• Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to map and optimize them effectively.
• Experience in validating system designs and developments, with a strong focus on quality assurance.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex information into clear and actionable requirements.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with an amicable, can-do disposition that encourages collaboration among teams.
