Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Operations Manager to oversee our wholesale fruits and vegetables business. The ideal candidate will manage daily operations, ensure supply chain efficiency, maintain quality standards, and optimize processes to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee procurement, inventory, and logistics to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, farmers, and distributors to secure the best pricing and quality.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality control standards.
• Supervise warehouse operations, including storage, packaging, and order fulfillment.
• Lead and train the operations team to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Work closely with the sales team to meet customer demands and ensure timely deliveries.
• Monitor operational costs and implement strategies for cost reduction and process improvement.
• Handle any operational challenges, including supply chain disruptions and product quality issues.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in operations management, preferably in fresh produce
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of supply chain, inventory management, and food safety regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
