Key Accountabilities:
- Review, assess, and negotiate contracts related to spot cargo, long-term agreements, key projects, and trade finance documents. Identify legal risks and provide strategic recommendations for risk mitigation.
- Review and advise on administrative and operations documents to ensure alignment with company policies and regulations.
- Provide opinions and strategic solutions on legal disputes.
- Monitor regulatory developments and advise management on the impact of legal changes on business operations.
- Develop and implement legal risk mitigation strategies as necessary.
- Carry out staff briefings and training sessions.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized university.
- Minimum 5 years legal Experience in commodity trading (preferably in oil trading).
- Strong knowledge in trade & contract law.
- Exellent legal analysis, negotiation and risk assessment skills.
- Ability to provide strategic and pragmatic legal advice.
- Fluent in both English and Chinese.
