Tim Gan Math Learning Centre, established in 2017, is dedicated to empowering Secondary and Junior College (JC) students in mastering Mathematics. We pride ourselves on offering high-quality resources, effective teaching methods, and consistent feedback to help students achieve their academic goals.Our in-house materials are designed by highly qualified curriculum specialists and former MOE Mathematics teachers, ensuring students receive the best support possible.
Position Overview
We are looking for a passionate full-time Mathematics Tutor to join our team and teach O-Level Elementary Mathematics (E Math) and Additional Mathematics (A Math). You will be working with small hybrid groups (up to 10 students, both online and in-person), helping them grasp mathematical concepts and build confidence in the subject.
Undergraduates who are graduating within the next 1–2 years are welcome to apply for part-time positions while studying.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the Singapore O-Level E Math and A Math syllabus, using our in-house curriculum and teaching materials.
- Create supplementary resources (e.g., worksheets, assessments) to cater to students' individual learning needs.
- Manage small hybrid classrooms (up to 10 students) to ensure an inclusive and focused learning environment.
- Track student progress and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
- Maintain clear communication with parents to provide updates on students' academic development.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and team members in a collaborative workplace.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- For part-time roles: Undergraduates in Mathematics or Engineering disciplines who are graduating in 1–2 years are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Strong grasp of the Singapore O-Level Mathematics syllabus.
- Passionate about teaching and making a difference in students’ academic journeys.
- Professional, dependable, and committed to teaching for at least one academic year.
- Availability to teach on both weekends and 3 weekday evenings.
