Application and Technical Specialist [Medical Devices | AWS + VB | Central] - Bukit Merah

Responsibilities:

• Support customers and the sales team with product and application-related needs.
• Respond to all inquiries related to products.
• Plan and deliver regular product updates and conduct training sessions on products and applications for assigned customers or territories.
• Advise customers and end users—including clinicians, doctors, and biomedical staff—on product configurations, solutions, and applications.
• Conduct product demonstrations and training to educate customers on product features, functions, and benefits.
• Assist the sales manager with projects and tenders, including reviewing specifications and proposing solutions that meet requirements.
• Provide comprehensive end-user training, including planning schedules, preparing materials, quick guides, and other resources as requested.
• Support project execution and installation by configuring product settings to meet customer specifications.
• Collaborate with IT, engineering, logistics, and commercial teams to ensure timely commissioning and delivery of products.
• Deliver technical and service support within the assigned customer base or territory, covering warranty and post-warranty services such as maintenance.
• Provide technical and service training to customers.
• Be available for project-related standby duties, including product trials, post-sales support, and warranty services.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support company objectives.
• Handle any other ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Degree in any Engineering fields.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the medical device industry.
• Familiarity with patient monitoring systems and cardiology/ventilator-related products.
• Strong communication skills for delivering product presentations and troubleshooting effectively.
• Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal abilities.
• Self-motivated, with the capability to work independently and manage tasks without close supervision.
