about the company

Our client is an established bank with a growth potential in the Singapore market. With plans to further develop and grow its Singapore Office, they are looking for a RM with a background in Trade Finance to join its front office corporate banking team (China Desk).

• To develop, manage and grow the bank’s trade accounts with the Chinese corporates across Asia
• Increase the wallet size of the acquired and assigned clients by leveraging on the bank’s range of product offerings by structuring new trade financing products and financing solutions.
• Identify new profitable relationships and to grow the corporate banking client base
• Oversee the credit preparation and renewals
• Assist with due diligence, KYC matters, account opening, credit reviews and other activities
• Maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and overseas branches to ensure smooth process flow and delivery to clients
• Any other duties / projects assigned

about the manager / team

You’ll be part of a growing team. Reporting to the Head of Department, you will be needed to maintain an existing portfolio to increase the revenue growth for the team.

• Possesses a Degree in Accountancy, Business Management, Economics or related
• Minimum 5+ years of related working experience, with working exposure in both credit and marketing.
• A working knowledge in trade finance.
• Has a track record in maintaining and growing corporate clients across all sectors.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• A highly motivated and driven individual
