Summary:

The Executive - Stewardship in the University Advancement Office will be responsible for managing donor relations, cultivating relationships with major donors, and ensuring proper stewardship of gifts and grants. This role will involve overseeing the implementation of donor recognition programs, coordinating with fundraising teams, and tracking donor engagement and retention metrics.

The ideal candidate will have experience in donor relations, strong communication skills, and a passion for supporting higher education initiatives.

Job Duties:

Stewardship
  1. Validate and update the Rules of Administration (ROA) to ensure accuracy and proper entry of information into the CRM system.
  2. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to monitor fund utilisation, including generating fund utilisation reports.
  3. Manage award administration, including extracting award requirements and communicating them to school administrators.
  4. Collaborate with school administrators to ensure the award process aligns with ROA guidelines.
  5. Coordinate with students/award recipients to facilitate donor engagements in accordance with the established process.

Administrative Responsibilities:

  1. Track and report on the award administration progress.
  2. Ensure the donor database is updated with the latest information provided.
  3. Provide general administrative support in other assigned areas for the team.
Job Requirements
  1. Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel and MS Word.
  2. Strong analytical thinking skills and self-motivated.
  3. Ability to work independently and collaboratively while meeting tight deadlines.
  4. Demonstrates resourcefulness and flexibility in problem-solving.
  5. Competency in creative software such as Photoshop and/or Illustrator.
