Assistant Facilities Manager

Work Dynamics - Integrated Facilities Management

About the role: As an Assistant Facilities Manager at JLL, you will play a crucial role in ensuring operational excellence and safety in our facility management services. You will support the Facilities Manager in overseeing daily operations, implementing safety programs, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Oversight for site fire protection, security system, life safety and lifts system and be responsible for system performance, vendor deliverables and contract management.

What this job involves:

Commitment to facility operations excellence
  • Support HSE / Safety & Security programs implementation
  • Assist in managing daily safety operations and technical issues
  • Help develop and implement preventative programs for site management
  • Ensure maintenance of fire system equipment
  • Assist in compliance with government, client, and internal policies
Fire Systems Expertise
  • Support regular inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire detection and suppression systems
  • Assist in troubleshooting and field data collection related to fire systems
Performance Excellence
  • Contribute to meeting and exceeding service level agreements
  • Support efforts to meet all key performance indicators in the management contract
Championing Improvement
  • Assist in implementing improvement and savings programs, including utilities cost-cutting initiatives
  • Liaise with vendors on diverse projects
  • Support alignment of technical and safety audits with project timelines
Putting best practices in place
  • Contribute to engineering service delivery standards
  • Assist in planning, implementing, and reviewing site-specific processes and protocols
  • Help develop tools to measure the technical team's performance

Sound like you? To be successful in this role you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in facilities management
  • Knowledge of HSE practices and fire safety systems
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Possessing a Fire Safety Manager (FSM) certificate
