Job Designation : HSSE Officer (Health, Safety, Security and Environment)
Job Role and Responsibilities- Integrated Management System: Coordinate, maintain documentation and records for Integrated Management system ISO 14001, ISO 45001/SS651, ISO 5001 and ISO 9001
- Environmental Management: Monitoring and evaluating the environmental impact of PS manufacturing unit. This may involve waste management, pollution prevention, and compliance with environmental regulations.
- Risk Management: Identifying Risks, Assess Impact and Develop Risk Mitigation Strategies for Risk Assessments, Recommending and Implementing Improvements to Reduce Workplace Hazards.
- Security Management: Oversea plant security operation, ensure the organisation abides by all relevant security regulations and standards.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring that all operations comply with local, national, and international safety and environmental regulations. This includes maintaining compliace records and coordinating regulatory inspections.
- Incident Management: Coordinating investigations, reporting, and corrective actions in the event of safety or environmental incidents to prevent recurrence.
- Emergency Preparedness: Monitoring, Inspecting & Ensuring Firefighting Provisions are Operationally Ready, Conducting Emergency Drills and Exercises to Test Emergency Response Readiness
- Audits and Assessments: Conducting internal audits and compliance assessments to ensure that IMS policies and procedures are followed.
- Training and Awareness: Organizing training sessions to promote a culture of safety and environmental awareness among personnel.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintaining accurate records and preparing detailed reports to document incidents, actions taken, and progress in HSSE.
- Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM.
- Minimum specialist diploma in HSE, Engineering, Management, or equivalent
- Minimum 2 year working experience as a HSE officer in Manufacturing, Chemicals, Oil & Gas or Pharmaceuticals Industries
- Work at Height Assessor; Confined Space Assessor (Preferable)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge with MHI (Major Hazardous Installations) added advantage
