Job Summary

The Digital Marketing Analytics & Implementation will contribute actively to the end-to-end implementation and measurement of our digital marketing activities across the full MarTech stack. This is a hands-on role where the Intern will gain valuable exposure on marketing technologies across multiple platforms to enable robust data collection, high data quality and integrity, and perform meaningful analysis to drive ecommerce conversions, digital marketing performance and overall business goals.

This exposure will allow the Intern to jumpstart a potential career in Digital Marketing, Digital Operations, IT Project Management, and/or DevOps Engineering.

Job Responsibilities
  • Learn to manage Data Layer end-to-end deployment, including crafting of the tag specification plan, UAT validation, documentation, and production deployment to ensure the integrity of the Data Layer.
  • Learn to manage website, app, and campaign tag activities and coordinate with developers and vendors to implement tracking solutions using a tag management system (i.e. Tealium iQ).
  • Manage audience activation requirements from marketing team from our Customer Data Platform (CDP).
  • Collaborate with developers and vendors in troubleshooting data collection and processing issues.
  • Collaborate with performance marketing team to optimize conversion rates and KPIs through data analysis across channels (media, website, mobile etc.), user journeys, conversion funnels, campaigns etc.
  • Create meaningful reports to track web and campaign performance, aligning to business objectives.
  • Analyze web performance to deliver actionable insights and recommendations, eg. campaign optimization, page and web journey enhancement, A/B test opportunities etc.
  • Maintain naming conventions for campaigns and audience segments to ensure consistency in reporting across all partners and platforms.
  • Learn and implement best practices in tracking across all digital platforms, including but not limited to website and mobile app.
  • Maintain data governance documents across data collection, data processing and tracking implementation activities.

Job Requirements

Education & Certification
  • Applicant must be a full-time matriculated student
  • Internship must contribute to school graduation requirements
Experience
  • Experience reporting with Web Analytics Tools (GA360/GA4, Adobe Analytics) a plus
  • Experience in tracking eCommerce platforms and digital marketing activities a plus
  • Experience in implementing/managing website / mobile app data layer a plus
Other Prerequisites
  • Basic understanding of web programming languages (Javascript, HTML, XML feed, CSS)
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive in leading analysis and troubleshoot data anomalies
  • Well organized and proactive with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and deliver tasks and projects on time
  • Possess a curious mind to want to investigate and constantly ask “why” and provide data driven answers
  • Passion for number crunching and logical problem solving
  • Hands-on experience on tag management platforms such as GTM, DTM or Tealium (Tealium preferred) a plus
