Position: Lead AI Engineer
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Development Governance: Guide internal and external developers, removing technical dependencies and impediments during product development.
- Technical Support: Support the Product Owner from a technical perspective and choose appropriate testing strategies.
- Technical Planning: Assist in the technical planning of AI products.
- Backlog Management: Define enablers for the product backlog.
- Consultation: Consult with the AI Architect on technical requirements.
- Agile Process: Contribute to the self-organizing spirit of agile delivery teams, participating in necessary ceremonies.
- Collaboration: Maintain close contact with shared services (e.g., IT infrastructure team) and handle IT Service Management (Deputy).
Required Competencies:
- AI Design Patterns: Deep understanding of AI design patterns and their implementation.
- Data Processing: Expertise in data processing for AI microservices.
- Software Development: Established knowledge of modern software development and microservice frameworks.
- Technology Landscape: In-depth understanding of the AI technology landscape (Classical & Generative).
- Big Data Technologies: Proficiency in Spark (pyspark), Kafka, Hadoop, and data formats for Big Data.
- IT Infrastructure: Knowledge of IT infrastructure and interfaces is a plus.
Tech Stack:
- General:
Very high proficiency in Python and common data science and machine learning libraries (Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-Learn, SciPy, Statsmodels, Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Matplotlib).
Expertise in generative AI models (implementation, embedding, evaluation, (re)training).Proficiency in dependency management (Pip, Conda), code versioning (Git), and using Jupyter notebooks.
Knowledge of deployment strategies for cloud and on-premise environments.
Familiarity with Spark (pyspark), Kafka, Hadoop, and data formats for Big Data.
Knowledge of microservices development using Flask.
Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and Openshift.
Optional: Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, SAC).

Education & Work Experience:
- Master's degree in computer science, data science, or an AI-related discipline.
