Maintenance Supervisor - Electrical

Job Summary

The Electrical Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the maintenance and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery. This role ensures the safe and efficient operation of electrical infrastructure, manages a team of electricians, and implements preventive maintenance programs.

1. Supervise Electrical Maintenance Team: Lead a team of electricians, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and providing guidance and training.
2. Develop and Implement Maintenance Programs: Create and execute preventive maintenance schedules, procedures, and protocols to minimize equipment downtime.
3. Electrical System Maintenance and Repair: Oversee the maintenance, repair, and replacement of electrical systems, including switchgear, motors, and control systems.
4. Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Investigate and resolve electrical issues, using diagnostic tools and techniques to identify root causes.
5. Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to electrical safety standards, regulations, and company policies, conducting regular safety audits and training sessions.
6. Communication and Collaboration: Liaise with production teams, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure electrical maintenance activities align with business objectives.
7. Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and performance metrics, providing regular reports to management.

1. Education: Bachelor's Or polytechnic graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
2. Certifications: Valid electrical licenses and certifications (e.g., WSH).
3. Experience: 5+ years of experience in electrical maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
4. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge and experiences of electrical systems, PLC control and instrumentation & sensor, and safety protocols.
5. Leadership and Communication Skills: Proven ability to lead teams, communicate effectively, and manage conflict.
