Administrative Executive (Finance & Operations)
Work Location: Within walking distance of Little India MRT
Work Hours: 8.30am to 6pm (Monday to Thursday), 8.30am to 5.30pm (Friday)
Background:
Our client supports national infrastructure development and public sector initiatives through strategic planning, operational coordination, and financial oversight. This role sits within a team that plays a key role in managing the funding, governance, and process improvement of various ongoing programmes.
They are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Executive (Finance & Operations) to assist with budgeting processes, financial analysis, and operational coordination to support transport-related initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, monitoring, and reporting of budgets and mid-term expenditure projections for transport-related programmes.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand operational needs and key cost drivers, ensuring effective financial planning and governance.
- Support the evaluation and review of operator proposals, tenders, and related documentation.
- Provide input on funding proposals, offering financial insights and identifying opportunities for cost optimisation and process improvements.
- Contribute to process enhancement initiatives by streamlining workflows and recommending digital or operational solutions to boost efficiency.
Requirements:
- Diploma or equivalent professional qualification in Accountancy, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
- At least some relevant experience in financial planning, budgeting, or accounting functions.
- Solid understanding of Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) is preferred.
