About Us:

As we continue to grow our team, we’re seeking a talented and forward-thinking Trading Analyst to join our Singapore office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bridge traditional financial models with machine learning and deep learning methodologies.
• Translate rule-based strategies developed by subject matter experts into autonomous AI-driven models (e.g., multi-agent modeling, macro-micro model ensembles).
• Design and implement hybrid approaches that integrate statistical and non-statistical models using meta-learners.
• Write and execute tests using financial datasets to validate model assumptions and performance.
• Contribute to the design and construction of trading portfolios, either directly through model development or indirectly via analytics and insights.
• Work on a variety of AI-powered trading projects, which may include:
• AI Stock Screener using Bayesian Modeling
• AI Portfolio Optimization via Reinforcement Learning
• Stock Trend Prediction using PyTorch Forecasting
• Evaluate model performance using both traditional and trading-specific metrics such as Sharpe Ratio, Turnover, Fitness, Returns, Drawdown, Margin Utilization, Long/Short Count, and Sector/Subindustry Allocations.
• Collaborate as part of a specialized sub-team within the trading division focused on developing fully autonomous AI trading systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Financial Engineering, Quantitative Finance, or a related quantitative discipline with strong grounding in financial fundamentals and investment principles.
• Proficient in Python, R, and SQL; experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Demonstrated experience in alpha signal research, model performance evaluation, and application of financially contextualized metrics to trading strategies.
• Experience with portfolio construction, risk management, and backtesting strategies using real-world financial data.
• Familiarity with portfolio management techniques and an ability to adjust portfolio allocations in response to macroeconomic news, market trends, and global events.
• A critical thinker who can interpret the nuance behind statements like “Everything is AI, but nothing is AI”—understanding both the capabilities and limitations of AI models in financial markets.
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for leveraging AI and quantitative methods to solve real-world problems in finance.
• Prior experience in a buy-side or hedge fund environment, working with live trading models or portfolio optimization frameworks will be preferred.
