Job Responsibilities Application Administration Primary duty is to configure, manage, and troubleshoot Asia-hub system to ensure it meets organizational needs and operational requirements. Access Management Manage system/user access, permissions, and roles for Asia-hub system, ensuring that only authorized personnel have access to sensitive data and applications.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization Monitor application performance regularly using tools to track key metrics, identify bottlenecks, and proactively resolve issues to maintain optimal system functionality. Security Management Implement security measures to protect applications from unauthorized access, data breaches, and other threats.
Conduct regular security audits and manage security configurations to comply with organizational policies. Troubleshooting and Support Provide prompt support to end-users by diagnosing and resolving application-related issues, to minimize downtime.
Updates and Upgrades Plan, coordinate, and execute updates, patches, and upgrades to applications, ensuring smooth deployment without disrupting business operations. Documentation and Knowledge Management Maintain up-to-date documentation for application configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides to ensure compliance and facilitate team knowledge sharing.
Job Requirements Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum 1 year of relevant experience and 5 years of total experience. Proficiency in software engineering and familiarity with application management tools; knowledge of cloud-based platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is preferred. Understanding of applications security principles and practices to safeguard applications and data.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and end users effectively. Business Level proficiency in Japanese is preferred due to the requirement of having to communicate with stakeholders based in Head Office (Tokyo).
