IT Infrastructure Engineer - Bukit Batok

Our client is seeking a leading digital platform company and they are seeking for a IT Infra Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain network, server, storage, and virtualization infrastructure.
• Configure and manage Cisco, Fortinet, or similar network devices, ensuring secure and efficient connectivity.
• Administer Windows/Linux servers, including installation, patching, and troubleshooting.
• Oversee VMware virtualization environments, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
• Manage SAN/NAS storage solutions, including provisioning and performance tuning.
• Monitor infrastructure health, analyze logs, and troubleshoot issues proactively.
• Implement security best practices, including firewalls, access controls, and compliance measures.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on infrastructure projects and upgrades.
• Provide Level 2/3 support, resolving escalated infrastructure-related incidents.
• Document configurations, procedures, and policies for operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, covering networking, servers, storage, and VMware.
• Strong knowledge of switching, routing (BGP, OSPF), and firewall management (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA).
• Experience in Windows and Linux server administration.
• Proficiency in VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
• Hands-on experience with storage solutions (SAN/NAS) and backup systems.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure, AWS) and automation (PowerShell, Python) is a plus.
• Certifications such as CCNP, VCP, or MCSE are preferred.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
