Position objective and summary
Play a pivotal role in the successful execution of engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves working closely with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Main tasks / activities / responsibilities- Project Planning and Coordination:Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goal and operation requirements.
Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and work plans, using project management tools to track progress and ensure timely completion.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and fabrication teams to ensure alignment on project milestones and deliverables.Work closely with external consultant to ensure proper and timely approval from relative autuorioties.
- Technical Support and Design Review:Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and documentation to ensure engineering quality and compliance.
Support management in evaluating design changes, assessing their impact on project schedules and budgets.
- Site Coordination and Quality Control:Conduct site visits as needed to monitor project progress, identify issues, and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure materials and equipment meet quality requirements and project specifications.
Assist in conducting quality control inspections, ensuring that installations align with engineering and regulatory standards.Take the HSE leadership on project management to ensure compliance and zero incident.
- Documentation and Reporting:Prepare and maintain project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, and technical documents.
Support procurement activities by reviewing material specifications and participating in vendor evaluations as necessary.
Job requirements- Diploma degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or a related field).
- 3-5 years of experience in a project engineering role, preferably in a relevant industry (e.g., process, Oil & gas).
- Proficiency in project management software.
- Familiarity with industry standards and codes relevant to engineering projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
