Job description:
The National University of Singapore (NUS) invites application for the position of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer, Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies (NUS Nursing), Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. The Centre offers undergraduate Bachelor of Science (Nursing) programmes and also enrolls postgraduate students at Master and Doctorate Levels.
The applicant should- have a PhD in Nursing or a health-related discipline or a Bachelor of Nursing with relevant postgraduate qualifications
- have some teaching experience in higher education settings
- be eligible for full registration with the Singapore Nursing Board
- be able to teach a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes
- have an exemplary track record in tertiary education using innovative teaching strategies
- be able to supervise undergraduate students during clinical placement
- be able to secure a joint appointment with an industry partner
- have an interest to conduct research to improve patients' and students' outcomes
Preference will be given to applicants with expertise in community health nursing, paediatrics, mental health, leadership & management, palliative and end-of-life care, professional issues & ethics and gerontology.
