Role Summary
We are looking for a Business Development Manager who will champion our incubatees’ expansion into new territories. You will develop and execute strategic market entry plans, establish key partnerships, and represent Ripple2Wave and its startups at industry events.This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the regional footprint of emerging water technologies, particularly in neighbouring countries such as Malaysia.
Key Responsibilities- Market Expansion Strategy: Develop comprehensive strategies to penetrate new markets, identify potential customer segments, and prioritise growth opportunities for incubatees.
- Partnership Development: Forge strategic alliances with industry players, distributors, government bodies, and commercialisation partners to facilitate pilot projects and sales channels.
- Representation and Networking: Serve as an ambassador for Ripple2Wave’s portfolio at international trade shows, conferences, and networking events, amplifying both our brand and that of our startups.
- Competitive Analysis: Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory landscapes to provide timely insights and recommendations to incubatees.
- Funding and Grant Support: Identify relevant grants, funding schemes, and sponsorships to bolster the financial resources of the incubatees and drive long-term growth.
- Collaboration with Incubation Team: Work in tandem with the Incubation Manager to ensure startups receive the necessary support and resources to realise market opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnership management, ideally within the technology or sustainability sectors.
- Proven track record of expanding business into new markets, especially within Southeast Asia.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and networking skills.
- Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
