Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
We are looking for an automation engineer, to support the development of infrastructure automation solutions, that will automate the end-to-end lifecycle management of VMs and containers.
Responsibilities:
- Work on full SDLC, including requirement gathering, design, coding, unit testing, system testing, documentation
- Supporting BAU tasks for production applications that are developed by the team, including responding to queries, troubleshooting, documentation and hygiene tasks
- Ensuring and improving application reliability and resiliency
- Ensure adherence to risk management policies
- Maintain application infrastructure
Advantages:
- Experience in hypervisor software such as vSphere, KVM would be an advantage
- Experience in automation tools such Puppet, Ansible would be advantage
- Experience in container environments such as Kubernetes would be an advantage
