Senior Java Microservices Developer - Financial Markets

This role involves working on complex financial systems, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices-based applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for microservices.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to deploy and monitor applications in cloud environments.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.

Experience Required:

• At least 5-10+ years of experience in Java development, with a focus on microservices architecture.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Strong understanding of software development best practices, including Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience and interest in the financial markets industry.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of security best practices in microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
