Research Analyst - Bukit Merah

Job Description:

• Conduct bottom-up fundamental analysis and due diligence on companies and industries for investment recommendations
• Possess strong analytical skills to form independent opinions
• Proficient in understanding and analyzing financial statements
• Monitor sector, market, and economic conditions to assess portfolio impacts
• Perform ongoing due diligence and monitor portfolio companies
• Effectively communicate investment ideas and prepare materials for investment committee meetings

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years in finance or investment, preferably in asset and wealth management
• Professional certifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus
• Strong knowledge of investing and financial markets, especially equities
• Experience with developed markets equities and derivatives is an advantage
• High attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Bloomberg
• Self-motivated, driven, and positive with a strong work ethic
• Strong team player, able to work independently with minimal supervision
