A major bank is seeking for Director / Vice President, Operational Risk to be part of their Risk team in Singapore. Responsibilities Reporting to the Head of Department, you will lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of the operational risk framework, ensuring effective risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies.
You will ensure the framework aligns with MAS regulations and advise the business on compliance matters while monitoring regulatory changes. The role also involves managing third-party risks, overseeing due diligence, and ensuring proper risk mitigation for third-party engagements.
You will also have to manage incident investigations, business continuity planning, and provide training to promote a proactive risk culture across the organization. Requirements Ideally, you hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field, with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in operational risk management or risk advisory within the banking industry.
You have a strong knowledge of MAS regulations, particularly in operational risk, third-party risk management, and outsourcing. You possess proven experience in end-to-end operational risk management, from risk identification to mitigation and reporting.
Additionally, you are familiar with risk management tools, frameworks, and methodologies.
