Business Development Director - Tampines

Job Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Managing Director and will be responsible for the following duties of the Business Unit Division:

• Oversee activities of the Business Unit Division
• Analyze, develop, implement, and review corporate objectives, policies and activities for the sale of the organization’s products
• Develop and review Business strategies and sales targets for e-commerce model; and be responsible for achieving the sales revenue through proper inventory management and providing technical support to customers.
• Identify improvement areas; plan and implement systems to boost company effectiveness
• Manage the team to meet the organization’s goals and deadlines
• Prepare and manage budgets, schedules, and other organizational reports as needed
• Assist the Managing Director in all other aspects of managing the company

Job Requirements:

• Degree holder and above in Business or a related field
• At least 12 years of experience in the industrial automation industry
• At least 5 years of experience in senior management, preferably in a Japanese Company, with exposure to Strategic Planning
• High proficiency in spoken and written Japanese (at least JLPT Level 1) and English is a must to handled Japanese correspondences, translation and communication with Japan HQ
• Possess a growth-oriented mindset, with strong strategic perspective, and highly motivated
• Strong analytical ability and sensitive to numbers and figures and highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau and Salesforce
• Able to multi-task, meet deadlines and thrives in a fast-paced environment
