My client is a well-established commodities company which specialise in base, precious, and ferrous derivatives. They are looking for a LME Base Metals Trader with proficiency in mathematics, liaise with global offices.

Cover APAC region
Handle derivatives trading
Assist the senior trader in market making to a global client base
Market making to Asian and International base metals producers, traders and consumers

about the manager/team

Report to CEO in Singapore
Liaise with stakeholders in London, New York, Tokyo, China
Collaborative working environment
Global coverage

skills and experience required

2+ years derivatives trading experience from LME broker / financial institution
Experience in Outright, Spread, Averaging, Options, Kilo for Base Metals, Precious Metals, Foreign Exchange and Ferrous Metals
Strong communication skills
Liaise with Japanese stakeholders
Proficient in mathematics
Programming knowledge or experience will be a plus
