About the role
We are seeking an exceptional Assistant Finance Manager to join our team at Mooreast Asia Pte Ltd in the Shipyard West Region. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in supporting Head of Corporate Finance / Financial Controller in steering the company's financial strategy and operations, ensuring financial stability and growth while aligning financial strategies with overarching business objectives.
Job description
Financial Planning and Analysis- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the Company’s long-term goals and objectives.
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial projections.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor and manage the Company’s cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity to meet operational needs
- Develop strategies for optimizing working capital and managing debt.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, including credit, market, operational, and liquidity risks.
- Implement and monitor internal control to safeguard the Company’s assets.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and provide recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors.
- Develop financial models, perform financial due diligence and evaluate potential M&A or investment projects which includes overseeing deal process, negotiating commercial terms and supporting any other business development;
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, accounting standards, and corporate governance requirements.
- Minimum Diploma/ Degree in Accountancy/ ACCA or equivalent.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Strong leadership traits and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- At least 7-10 years of relevant working experience
- Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
- Excellent Mandarin and English communication skills require to manage Mandarin speaking internal and external stakeholders and staff.
