Job Title: Assistant Accounting Manager/Accounting Manager

Our Client is a well-known Japanese Manufacturer, currently seeking an Assistant Accounting Manager/Accounting Manager to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for full sets of accounts, ensuring timely and accurate monthly and yearly closing using the SAP system.

【 Responsibilities 】

Prepare monthly reports for HQ and quarterly revaluation reports for group companies.
Liaise with auditors and draft the annual auditors’ report.
Handle corporate tax, expatriate personal income tax, and GST-related matters.
Prepare the year-end budget.
Ensure internal control and compliance, including J-SOX requirements.
Liaise with the corporate secretary on board meetings, AGMs, etc.
Prepare ad hoc reports for government agencies (e.g., Department of Statistics, Economic Development Board).

【 Requirement & Preferences 】

(Must)

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or ACCA professional level.
At least 5 years of experience handling full sets of accounts.
Experience in a Japanese company and familiarity with J-SOX compliance.
Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).

(Advantageous)

Experience with TMS (Treasury Management System).
Background in treasury/treasury administration within financial institutions or finance-related companies.
