About the project
End-to-End Equity Derivatives Automation is a project under the GM Resilience program that aims at standardizing the Equity Derivatives processing in China. The projects end objective is to achieve enhanced automation for Equity Derivative Trade Processing in China and extend the functionalities developed to other APAC locations to support added trading opportunities for the front office with a robust operational processing model and technical stack for the ITO.The project entails a transformation in the way the Equity Derivative trade processing is managed out of APAC from both a process and a systems standpoint.
About the role
We are looking at a Senior IT Project manager that can manage this transformation across facets like - Systems implementation (Design, Development and Testing), Stock Migration, RACI definition and Aftercare.
Responsibilities:
- Overall IT PM for the program.
- Working with Front Office, Operations, Finance and Technology stakeholders for the target architecture implementation
- Prepare, maintain and manage project plan, delivery coordination and governance
- Coordinating with other IT teams, front office, operations and finance stakeholders to ensure onboarding, capacity planning and securing the deliveries
- Test management for the front to finance chain
- Stakeholder management, running program governances, Steering committees, regular operational and working committees
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of relevant experience in CIB
- Experience in implementing front to back IT projects.
- Mandatory Functional experience and understanding of Post Trade activities – Booking, confirmation, settlement, Accounting, Regulatory reporting.
- Strong PM experience in managing steering committees with CXO level management.
