My client (West area) is a renowned Japanese manufacturer strategically located at Jurong's industrial district.
Your new role
They're seeking an exceptional Quality Assurance Manager to spearhead their Quality Division. As a seasoned quality professional, you'll develop, implement, and maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring our products and processes meet the highest standards.
- Quality Excellence: Lead the implementation and maintenance of our QMS, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant certifications.
- Process Optimization: Define and implement quality assurance standards, processes, and procedures across all departments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Budgeting and Resource Planning: Develop and manage the annual budget for the Quality division, ensuring efficient use of resources and justifying quality-related investments.
- Leadership and Team Development: Manage, train, and mentor a team of QA engineers, document controllers, and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
- Customer Focus and Continuous Improvement: Serve as the key contact for customer quality concerns, driving continuous improvement initiatives and leading root cause analysis, CAPA activities, and quality risk assessments.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate, should have;- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field, with a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, with experience as a Management Representative (MR).
- Quality Improvement Tools: Proficient in quality improvement tools and techniques, such as CAPA, FMEA, 8D, and SPC.
- Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Budgeting and Project Management: Budget planning and project management skills are essential.
