Job Title: Operations Executive – Logistics and Freight Forwarding

This role is focused on ensuring smooth daily operations, efficient handling of logistics processes, accurate documentation, and timely delivery of shipments, all while providing exceptional support to both internal teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the daily operational processes, ensuring efficient execution of all tasks across back office operations, warehousing, and transportation.
• Handle critical shipping documentation, including contracts, bills of lading, customs paperwork, and other required forms to ensure smooth shipment processing.
• Review and prepare competitive pricing for freight services, ensuring pricing structures are accurate and in line with customer requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, warehousing, and customer service) to ensure alignment on client needs, service delivery, and operational timelines.
• Track shipments and coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and successful delivery while resolving any issues that may arise.
• Provide operational support for customer inquiries, ensuring prompt and accurate responses.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant shipping regulations, international guidelines, and company policies.
• Maintain operational records and generate regular reports on performance, cost tracking, and updates on pricing structures.
• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements, helping the team to enhance efficiency and operational excellence.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Strong understanding of logistics, shipping, and freight forwarding and warehousing operations, including documentation, pricing, and transportation processes.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding industry, with hands-on involvement in operations, back office tasks, and documentation.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational issues.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently while maintaining accuracy and a high level of service delivery.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

Education & Skills:

• Graduate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for operational tracking and reporting.
• Familiarity with relevant shipping regulations, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
• Previous experience in warehousing and transportation management will be an advantage.
