As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Responsible for 2 entity of the organization.
• Manage budgeting, financial reporting, grant management, audit oversight, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Provide financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Support fundraising efforts and collaborate with program managers to allocate funds efficiently and effectively.
• Prepare presentation slides for board meetings to communicate financial information and other key updates.
• Oversee banking and treasury operations, while actively participating in charity program committees.
• Ensure adherence to strong governance practices and compliance with the Charities Act.
• Approve purchase requisition/ purchase orders and payment in accordance with established guidelines and budget allocations.
• Provide secretariat support for Board meetings, including administrative tasks such as minute-taking.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Previous experience in Charity organization is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with procurement systems and SAP FICO preferred.
