AVP - Data Center Services (DCS) Planning & Governance Specialist - Geylang

• A contract position managed by a third-party agency.
• 1 year contract

You will play a key role in optimizing data center operations to support the company's overall objectives.

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive data center services strategy and roadmap to support the company's business goals
• Establish and oversee data center governance frameworks, policies and standards to ensure optimal performance and compliance
• Lead cross-functional teams to identify and implement innovative data center solutions and best practices
• Analyse data center capacity, utilization and trends to inform strategic planning and decision-making
• Collaborate with IT, facilities and business stakeholders to align data center services with evolving organizational needs
• Manage service level agreements and vendor relationships to optimize data center service delivery
• Provide thought leadership and recommendations to senior management on data center strategy and investments

• Degree in Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT service management or in Tech Risk with a focus on governance and control within an IT enterprise environment
• Relevant industry certification (e.g: ITIL, Six Sigma, COBIT)
• Solid writing, documentation, interpersonal and communication skills. Strong technical understanding of data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking and cloud technologies
• Experience in the areas of Risk Management, IT audit or IT security is an added advantage. Proven track record in developing and implementing data center strategies and governance frameworks
• Prior working experience in banking or financial institutions would be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of MAS or APAC financial regulators technology risk guidelines or mandates would be valuable. Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to think strategically and translate business requirements into technical solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders
