Job Description
As an Assistant Supply Chain Manager, you will support the overall supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment. This includes inventory management, assisting in procurement, coordinating logistics, data analysis, and regulatory compliance. This role requires analytical skills, industry knowledge, and cross-department collaboration. Your responsibilities will include:
What You Will Do- Manage and oversee logistics, warehouse operations, supply chain, demand planning, and procurement
- Monitor the quality, quantity, cost, and efficiency of goods movement and storage.
- Generate stock reports and statistics to track company improvements
- Foster supplier relationships and assess performance to build strategic alliances
- Maintain health, safety, and security standards in the warehouse
- Allocate and manage staff resources to meet evolving demands
- Degree in Logistics Management / Supply Chain Management or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years’ working experience in store management and shipping functions in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in warehouse and inventory management
- Strong communications skills with ability to Collaborate effectively across departments
- Proficient in using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email)
- Some hands-on experience with ERP system or other relevant system
- Experience working with international suppliers and managing global logistics
- Understanding of international trade regulations and customs procedures
