- Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to specified destinations.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring they are securely fastened in the vehicle.
- Plan delivery routes for efficiency and fuel economy.
- Inspect vehicles for safety and perform preventative maintenance.
- Complete logs and reports on deliveries, vehicle upkeep, and fuel use.
- Follow all regulations and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers about delivery updates.
- Requirements:
- Valid class 3 driver’s license (manual).
- Clean driving record with strong driving and navigation skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and handle physical work.
- Good time management skills for timely deliveries.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Excellent customer service skills.
