Position Overview:

The Senior Operations Management Specialist will oversee and optimize daily operations within our commodities trading activities, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and profitability. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams and external partners to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Trading Operations Oversight: Manage and streamline trading operations, including contract management, trade execution, and settlement processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational risks associated with commodities trading, implementing controls to safeguard the company’s interests.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all trading activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes.
• Process Improvement: Analyze current operational processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement best practices to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Data Analysis: Collect and analyze trading data to inform decision-making, develop improvement strategies, and support reporting requirements.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with traders, finance, risk management, and other departments to coordinate resources and ensure seamless operations.
• Supply Chain Coordination: Oversee logistics and supply chain activities related to commodities trading, ensuring timely delivery and inventory optimization.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 5 years of operations management experience within the commodities trading industry.
• Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with trading and operations management software and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
