We are looking for an Performance Talent & Talent Development Manager This is a unique role which the candidate will serve in dual role: performance talent and talent development manager. Their responsibilities span across various aspects of developing and cultivating an artist’s career, with the goal of helping them reach their full potential and grow their presence in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Performance Talent- Performance in live concerts and performance events, able to engage with audience and adjust performances based on audience reactions and changes.
- Rehearsal with directors, choreographer and collaborators to ensure seamless execution of the performance and understand performance routine.
- Working with performance crew to ensure that performance is in best condition
- Marketing and branding of the performances.
- Identifying and scouting new talent by attending live shows, reviewing submissions, or leveraging industry connections.
- Developing the artist by working closely with them on skills refining, branding and imaging. This could involve everything from vocal coaching, training, and style advice to helping the artist establish their voice in the market.
- Career Management for the artist through offering guidance on career direction and long-term strategy by building a sustainable career plan, negotiate contracts, and goal settings.
- Building relationships for potential partnerships with industry professionals like producers, record labels, booking agents, and media outlets to help advance the artist’s career.
- Develop marketing campaigns and strategies to promote the artist and create a personal brand via public facing platforms.
- Coordinating performances, album releases, media appearances for the artist, and ensure that the arrangements are in working order.
- Managing on the artists finance through planning and budgeting on the costs for promotion, and ensure that generated revenue is healthy.
Skills Required:
- Applicant must have minimum 5 years of live singing performance experiences in live events, concerts and indoor venues. Applicant must be well verse in English and Chinese language songs due to the nature of event and targeted audience group.
- Applicant must also have at least 5 years of experiences in talent management and development.
- Applicant must have certification with minimum Diploma in Music and/or related courses.
- A deep understanding of the music and live performance event landscape.
- Experience in project management and organization.
- Creative vision to help artists grow in their unique direction.
- Knowledge of marketing, branding, and public relations, with good budgeting skills.
