Cook/ Kitchen Assistant (Korean cuisine) - Toa Payoh

About the role

We are seeking a talented Cook/Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Taste Gamtan, located in the Orchard Central region. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious Korean cuisine to delight our customers.

• Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Korean dishes according to recipes and customer orders
• Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and hygiene
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining a tidy and organised kitchen environment
• Collaborate with the wider kitchen team to deliver an exceptional dining experience
• Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations

• Proven experience in a similar cook or kitchen assistant role, ideally within the Korean cuisine speciality
• Excellent time management and organisational skills to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions
• Good communication skills and a passion for delivering high-quality customer service
