Job Description
- Report to the Section Chef and senior staff.
- Follow instructions and complete tasks to standard.
- Keep the kitchen clean, hygienic, and organised.
- Prepare ingredients and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Ensure food is consistent and meets specifications, with approval from senior staff.
- Assist with ordering and stock rotation.
- Prepare the mise en place sheet for briefing as instructed.
- Minimise food waste.
- Continuously improve culinary skills through training or self-study.
- Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.
- Follow the Staff Code of Conduct.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Knows how to use kitchen equipment safely.
- Understands basic food hygiene and safety rules.
- Can work quickly and efficiently.
- Punctual, responsible, and well-disciplined.
