Customer Service Representative - Bukit Merah

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our shipping team as a Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and professional customer experience throughout the shipping process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat.
• Provide accurate information regarding shipping schedules, tracking, and documentation.
• Coordinate with internal departments (sales, operations) to ensure timely quotation and issue resolution.
• Handle complaints, concerns, and delays with professionalism and empathy.
• Maintain updated records of customer interactions, shipments, and service issues using PSA website and internal systems.
• Process shipping documents such as documentation and declarations of special containers, invoices.
• Follow up proactively on shipment status and notify customers of any changes or delays.
• Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and company policies.
• Contribute to team efforts by identifying areas for process improvement and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Previous experience in customer service, preferably within the shipping, freight, or logistics industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-first mind set.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
• Knowledge of import/export procedures and documentation is a plus.
