HR Business Partner (HRBP) - Geylang

Job responsibilities include but not limited to:

Payroll
  • Manage payroll for different business units.
  • Process and handle all payroll matters, ensuring adherence to payroll timelines and accuracy in salary disbursements.
  • Verify time attendance and staff rosters to ensure accurate payment of hours worked.
  • Maintain and update employee information accurately and promptly in the HR system.
  • Ensure timely submissions to government authorities such as CPF Board, IRAS, etc.
Employee Relations and Communication
  • Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries from employees and line managers.
  • Conduct orientation sessions for new employees.
  • Act as the liaison for employee grievances and disciplinary matters, providing timely counselling when necessary.
  • Support the resolution of employee relations issues, including involuntary terminations, redundancies, performance improvement plans, and disciplinary meetings.
  • Provide assistance with the Performance Appraisal exercise.
HR Administration
  • Prepare and issue HR-related documents such as letters of appointment, confirmation, and promotion.
  • Generate monthly payroll reports.
  • Collaborate with departments to handle cross-functional duties effectively.
  • Manage all MOM work pass-related processes, including applications, renewals, appeals, and cancellations.
  • Handle claims such as uniform allowances, transport reimbursements, and other relevant claims.
  • Assist with other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent with at least 4 years of relevant business partnering experience
  • Experienced in using payroll and time management systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as a good team player
  • Meticulous, excellent organisational skills and ability to multi-task with result-oriented mindset in a fast-pace environment
