Role of Chef de Partie:
- Prepare menu in accordance with the café / bistro's excellent standards of quality and delectable recipes
- Maintain high standards of hygiene by ensuring all cooking equipment is clean and kept properly
- Assist in inventory control of kitchen supplies and equipment
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations, according to government regulations
- Maintain positive working relationships with the Front-of-House and retail team members
- Any other duties as assigned
- Learning and training opportunities leading to growth and salary increments:
- Cook / Commis --> Chef de Partie --> Junior Sous Chef --> Sous Chef --> Head Chef
- Experience in using cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware
- Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods, such as grilling, baking, boiling, etc.
- Possess food hygiene and safety certification
- Highly responsible and reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow team members as part of a team
- Able to work on weekends and public holidays (5-day roster)
