About the role
Green Star Products (S) Pte Ltd is seeking a talented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team based in the Tuas North West Region. As a full-time Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our construction projects, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective delivery of our services.
What you'll be doing- Preparing and analyzing detailed estimates, bills of quantities, and cost reports for construction projects
- Negotiating and managing contracts with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
- Monitoring project costs and budgets, identifying potential savings and efficiencies
- Providing valuable input and recommendations to project managers and senior leadership
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies
- Collaborating with the wider team to deliver successful, profitable construction projects
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
- With Autocad knowledge.
- Excellent understanding of construction processes, cost management, and contract administration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically
- Proficient in using relevant software and technologies for cost estimation and project management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role within the construction sector
