Position: AI Business Analyst

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Opportunity Identification: Support the business in identifying ideas or opportunities that can be addressed with AI solutions.
• Stakeholder Representation: Represent project managers and other core stakeholders, understanding their sometimes conflicting interests and needs.
• Requirements Gathering: Assist the business in defining business and stakeholder requirements, bringing new ideas to maturity for handover to product owners.
• Demand Process Ownership: Take ownership of the demand process, collaborating with the AI Architect to conduct demand analysis and develop solution designs for product owners.
• Backlog Management: Support in the prioritization and management of the feature-level AI backlog and actively contribute to the RRPS AI roadmap.
• Communication: Communicate frequently with all stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the cross-functional delivery team, Lead AI Engineers, AI Architect, and product owners.
• Education & Promotion: Promote and educate the business on the potential of AI solutions and their effectiveness in resolving business problems.

Required Competencies:

• Business Analysis: Experience in a business analyst role with a proven track record of successful AI projects.
• Domain Understanding: Ideally, an understanding of the subject domain (power systems).
• AI Knowledge: Strong understanding of machine learning and statistics, including productionizing.
• Stakeholder Management: Experience in stakeholder management.
• Agile Practices: Good understanding and hands-on experience in Agile practices.
• Listening & Planning: Ability to listen to and understand the needs of others, balancing these needs with your own vision and goals to create actionable plans and work packages.

Education & Work Experience:

• Completed studies in computer science, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a business analyst role.
• Product owner certification is a plus.
