Research Assistant (Nano-Bio Interface)
The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) invites applications for the position of Research Assistant, Nano-Bio Interface . The Nano-Bio Interface Lab led by Asst. Prof. ZHAO Wenting in the School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, and Biotechnology at Nanyang Technology University pioneered in elucidating the nanoscale regulation mechanism of how membrane geometry impacts the organization and modulation of cellular protein machineries in disease progression.
The lab has established state-of-the-art nanofabrication and advance imaging technologies. The team is seeking to recruit a research assistant devoted to studies of nanoscale assembly of diverse proteins on cellular membranes using nanofabricated chips and high-resolution imaging. The project aims to elucidate mechanisms of biophysical guidance of protein assembly in disease progression.
The Research Assistant will take on a significant role in Lead sub-projects and coordinate collaboration works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist research project under the direction of Principal Investigator or senior research staff, and present significant progress towards the deliverables.
- Lead sub-projects and coordinate collaboration works.
