Construction supervisor
Job Description:
Managing the day-to-day activities to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. The role involves managing workers, coordinating subcontractors, liaising with the project manager, and ensuring that construction work adheres to plans and regulations.The supervisor ensures that safety standards are followed, manages resources efficiently, and handles issues that arise during construction to keep the project on track.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure Safety Compliance:
Enforce safety standards and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.Conduct safety meetings and site inspections, identifying potential hazards and addressing them promptly.
Ensure workers have the necessary safety gear and tools for their tasks.
Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop and maintain daily work schedules, ensuring the project stays on track and within timelines.
Coordinate with project managers to ensure resources are available for work without elays. Monitor work progress, making adjustments to the schedule as needed to keep work moving forward.
Problem Solving:
Address and resolve construction issues as they arise, ensuring minimal disruption to the project timeline.
Troubleshoot any unexpected delays or problems and propose solutions.
