Regional Legal Counsel - M&A / Investment Banking - Bukit Merah

My client is currently looking for a Corporate lawyer to join as the Regional Legal Counsel.

Responsibilities

Draft, negotiate and review commercial distribution agreements
Provide support to the business units within APAC and manage the corporate governance affairs within the region
Advice on project acquisition (M&A), project finance and project development activities, including drafting, review and negotiation of various term sheets, SPAs, SHAs, JV agreements, Joint Development Agreements
Advise senior stakeholders on deal structuring, risk mitigation and legal strategies
General corporate commercial legal work i.e. day-to-day general litigation, legal advisory and ah hoc duties
Work closely with the team lead in rolling out company group-wide compliance policies for the region

To Qualify

5+ years of post qualified experience
Background in Investment Banking / M&A with top law firms and/or MNCs strongly preferred
Experience in an SGX company ideally
Pro-active and self-motivated learner
