Project Engineer - Tampines

Job Description
- Follow up on the design, fabrication, testing, FAI, and fixtures for manufacturing processes.
- Estimate costs for tooling to quote.
- Set up and manage Epicor costing and transactions.
- Provide DFM, Gantt Charts, and follow up with customers to ensure tool approval.
- Source and procure tools, inserts, and fixtures from suppliers.
- Obtain and follow up on third-party tooling quotations until project closure.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and production teams to ensure tooling meets production requirements.
- Troubleshoot tooling issues and implement corrective actions.
- Minimum Diploma in Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Engineer in the manufacturing industry
- Good communication skills, able to interact with people of all levels and teamwork
- Maintain accurate records of tooling designs, costs, and maintenance schedules.
- Ensure tooling designs and processes comply with relevant regulations and industry/customer standards.
