CNC Programmer[North/UG (Unigraphics) or MasterCAM software]

This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with machinists and tooling teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and modify CNC programs using UG or MasterCAM software.
• Perform calculations to determine cutting paths and material removal strategies.
• Conduct simulations and test runs to verify program accuracy.
• Define the sequence of machining operations for optimal efficiency.
• Write, review, and refine programs to improve productivity and reduce waste.
• Select and recommend appropriate tools for machining processes.
• Coordinate with the tooling department to procure new cutting tools as needed.
• Troubleshoot programming issues and provide clear instructions to machinists.
• Monitor and ensure all programs adhere to blueprint specifications and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in UG (Unigraphics) or MasterCAM software.
• Strong understanding of CNC programming principles and machining processes.
• Ability to analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications.
• Knowledge of cutting tools, materials, and machining techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with machinists and engineers.
• Familiarity with safety and quality standards in manufacturing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing environment.
• Certification in CNC programming or relevant technical training.
