Job Title: Breakfast & Lunch Chef

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Breakfast & Lunch Chef to join our team. The chef will be responsible for preparing traditional breakfast items such as economy bee hoon, fried chicken, and a variety of lunch dishes, including mixed rice with assorted dishes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Arrive at the restaurant by 5:30 AM to begin food preparation.
- Prepare and cook economy bee hun, fried chicken, and other breakfast items efficiently.
- Cook a variety of dishes for mixed rice with assorted dishes ensuring quality and consistency.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety in the kitchen.
- Manage ingredient preparation, portioning, and storage.
- Work efficiently under pressure, especially during peak hours.
- Keep kitchen equipment clean and well-maintained.
- Coordinate with kitchen assistants and ensure smooth workflow.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in cooking breakfast and mixed rice dishes in a restaurant or food stall.
- Familiarity with local flavors and cooking techniques.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under time constraints.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Punctual and responsible, with a passion for cooking.
