Senior/ Executive (Patient Safety), Div of Anaesthesiology & Perioperative Med

The Job:

The Senior Executive/Executive reports to the Division Patient Safety Officer (PSO) and the Division Patient Safety Admin lead, offering administrative assistance to the Division Patient Safety and Quality Committee, chaired and membered by the PSO Division and PSO Department.

He/she plays a key supporting role to assist the Division PSO in coordinating with all stakeholders to ensure prompt follow up and effective implementation of all risk, quality and patient safety related matters that are driven under the ambit of the Division Patient Safety and Quality Committee.

The roles and responsibilities includes but is not limited to the following:

• Management of Division clinical quality indicators through collaborating with internal stakeholders to gather insights and improve underperforming indicators
• Management of follow up action from incident reviews
• Raising awareness of patient safety through collaborating with OPSQ Clinical Risk Management (CRM) to develop, plan and implement initiatives to promote safe and Just Culture
• Management of clinical policies and ensuring that the Hospital level clinical policies are consistent with the current clinical work processes
• Perform ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by Department lead and supervisors in other areas where required

Requirements:

• Degree in any discipline with at least 2 year’s working experience, preferably in healthcare
• Candidates with prior healthcare background would be advantageous
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, planning and organizational skills
